Serve Our City
God has called us to enter into life in the city. God has not called us to abandon the city but pray for it and seek its good. Check out ways to get involved!

Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is a ministry that helps bring gifts and the Gospel of Jesus to children around the world. At Renewal, we virtually pack boxes in the summer for our "Christmas in July" efforts and then we stuff boxes to be sent over in the fall. We are always looking for people willing to pack or donate items which we collect throughout the year.
Trunk-or-Treat
As a blessing to the families in our community, we host an annual Trunk-or-Treat around Halloween where members decorate trunks for our parking lot, dress up, and hand out candy. We take joy in providing a safe, enjoyable trick-or-treating experience for the Highlands community!

Summer Movie on the Lawn
Our annual Movie on the Lawn is a great way for people in our neighborhoods to come together to enjoy a movie and treats on our lawn together.
Feed the Homeless in Our City!
Renewal Church and Pastor Bruce from "Bring Them In" Ministries have partnered together to serve the homeless every other month. The continued commitment is a chili hot dog lunch on a Saturday every other month. The group will buy the food, warm it up at home, bring it to the Salvation Army Crossroads Shelter, and serve it while engaging with the shelter guests. There will be ministry leaders on site to offer helpful advice and share the Gospel.
This would be a great way to get a group of 5 or 6 together and volunteer your time in a meaningful way. It could be a family with middle school-aged kids (13+), a Life Group, a group of college friends, or a group from the office. After you sign up, please direct any questions to Colleen Barger or 303.875.0944. Thank you for serving!

Giving Heart Englewood
Giving Heart works in the community to bless people spiritually, physically, emotionally, and intellectually. There are opportunities for our members to help with various projects, whether moving furniture, teaching classes, or providing meals.
